Everyone = people investing in GSEs.

I'd bet 99.9% of Americans don't know that GSE's will need a draw.

Agree that this will result in the rhetoric to really ramp up. Unlikely that a lot of good news will come out of the next few days from Congress. For every Rep. Capuano saying that GSE were robbed, there are many more willing to say that GSE's continue to get bailed out by taxpayers. Maybe a miracle statement from FHFA/UST? Doubt it. They seem content to sit back and let Congress (fail to) work it out.
