-To me Lowe's seems to be pulling itself out of a rut starting in the beginning of November 2017.

-Right now from my perspective Home Depot has peaked for now.

-I have picked through the lumber at Lowe,s myself to find the best boards for my projects so I have an idea of what you are talking about, but I can only imagine how difficult it would be for you at the scale that you must be using lumber.

-Maybe D. E. Shaw can make progress by addressing the issues that you have brought up along with what ever else there is that needs fixed or improved.

-When D. E. Shaw announced they would be active with Lowe's, articles came out that made it sound as if there wasn't any thing to fix or improve but you just pointed out some big problems.

-I think that Lowe's and Home Depot are both really solid nation wide and I would doubt that the Government would allow them to merge.
