Yes we have no ability (to my knowledge) to see how many shares they hold. Also, they day trade so it’s very easy for them to sell and boom buy and that’s how they make money all day long. But L2 paints a picture of what is happening, meaning blocks of 100 share sells on the ask are a way to keep the price down (when the volume is low) while they are on the bid trying to buy larger blocks... also you may see even larger sells on the ask but even larger buys from the same MM is another indication they are blocking while trying to load up and the same goes for the other direction. Just depends on what they think the market will do and bare.

Now I’m no expert and this is just my arm chair quarterback experience I’m giving you today.

Maybe an expert can chime in?!?!
