I lost a lot of money in OOIL (now OriginClear) back when they started with algae which I thought (and still do) that algae was the ultimate "green" answer to the global warming problem. The CEO is a world class Con Man. It is too bad that he did not know how to develop or market his product(s) as his only skill is con-ing people. That translated to earning his daily bread, which is a hell of a lot of money, by some of the most elaborate and well-done "cons" imaginable. I got out a long time ago when I saw the BS and that it could go nowhere. That guy flat out lied, committed fraud and why he is not in prison is beyond me. He has so many "cons" it is un-imaginable!

For context, I don't think that HYSR is in the same league, right now. And I don't think Tim Young has that "extreme Con Man" tag (yet). I acknowledge that the artificial leaf is a real scientific endeavor all over the world. It is such a difficult problem that no one has come close to succeeding and therefore I don't see how HYSR can succeed in all the ways that I have posted on the board, but those are quite technical and economical. Many artificial leaf startups have stopped due to the inability to get anywhere near to a competitive product. That HYSR keeps hyping for money, its so-called progress, which is nothing more that micro-steps going nowhere, bothers me greatly. They are nowhere near their nano-particle solar cells product after how many years? I understand why some term it a scam. Even if it is not, just being another failed artificial leaf makes it another typical pink sheet investment debacle.
