Unfortunately, ERHC's well was a dry hole. CEPSA, who was the operator of that block and who was the majority holder of the block, withdrew from the block after the dry hole and after spending millions on that one well. Why do you think they left?
To make matters worse, ERHC owes 10 million on that well that they have not paid, can't pay and are delinquent on. The exploration period in the block expired and there has been no indication that an extension was requested or that an extension was granted.
It is good to hear that other companies with acreage far removed from ERHC's acreage in Kenya are doing OK. Unfortunately it has little to nothing to do with what is happening in ERHC's block right now.
