For all we know the buyout PR could have been sent prematurely from the company itself. No official word has come out stating otherwise. There was no mention of anything being fraudulent about the original PR. Globe Newswire said they were advised by PTA Holdings, Inc that journalists and other readers should disregard it. Why not say it was not them that sent it? They didn't. This leaves open the possibility that PTA Holdings inadvertently sent the PR. It also feeds speculation that PTA Holdings is indeed working on a buyout deal.
