This is utter nonsense. No IP litigation of any significance whatsoever is done in Canadian courts, which are much, much slower that their American counterparts. Ask any Canadian lawyer and they will tell you how they marvel at how quickly cases make it to trial in the US.

California is the only jurisdiction that matters for major IP litigation.
