hey can only buy if Beniot wanted to sell. He owns 80% of the shares. I doubt very much he would release ownership to Snap.
As for the 6 year legal battle, I think you are thinking of the US.. the Canada legal processs is much quicker with less oppertunity for large companies to delay proceedings. By bringing the action against SNAP in Canada, they can only claim damages against revenues generated in Canada, but they can go back to 2004.
