Prior to this market downdraft, I was musing that we might see 4th quarter results posted in the third or fourth week of February as it used to happen prior to 2014 instead of around the 10th of March (plus or minus a couple of days) as has been the case the last 4 yrs. Why? Well, it seems that when things started to go sour and Spectrum didn't have a great story to tell (circa 2014 till last year) they pushed their 4th Q meeting into the 2nd week of March. Prior to that when things were going good they'd have their meeting in the third or fourth week of February. While I'm seeing revenue as no great shakes (I'm in line w the analyst's average usually I’m way over their estimates. Of perhaps Evomela may surprise us?), they do have a better balance sheet (and possibly paying off the rest of the convertible), and a positive story to tell about the drugs they are developing. But right now, with the stock market catching a cold, the earnings call is still a month away.
