1st, when I wrote that I was just trying to give him a real quick answer to just Google it (can't win whether being short or long..). To be honest, I didn't really mean to say Alice standard hearing, but just markman hearing. As I was typing Alice Standard, very quickly, in the back of my mind I was thinking Alice was a decision/opinion that turned into a standard and I was thinking well, a standard has to be applied somehow and at the last second I thought it be applied by way of hearing it in some way. So all thst was just abstract thinking and I reluctantly typed hearing, knowing that might not be right.. But I still figured it would work fine as a search term. Which brings me to your assertion that it returned nothing. That's kind of odd but then again, it is a rabbit 'whole' so maybe your internet is created from your conscious state & mine from another. But the fact of the hatter is that when I entered that very search term, the list that quickly popped up was "10 feet tall". I also tried "Alice hearing" just for the sake of "walking backwards" and to my surprise there were a bunch of hits on that as well. I will include a link to one of those hits for your amusement. Most of the hits for Alice standard hearing are admittedly just about the Alice standard per se and not any such hearing, altho one of them does indeed make reference to a hearing. That mightve been just a different context. I have read alot in the past about this decision and the "hole" development of it, but I had not yet come across the actual method of application. Perhaps you must swallow one pill or another and the end result has left lawyers wondering what "the doormouse said"? I'm in the process of chasing down those rabbits (how it is applied).

As an aside, and you have to be on the honor system to not use Google (or any other search engines)...who was the singer and the band to sing about Alice? No cheating!
