A follow up of my 30148 post. Anybody find info in the Oil States amiscus briefs that speak to personal / public patent rights & public / private rights.....if a company can contribute as the Koke brothers do to the political prosses as a result of being seen as having the same individual rights both are able to excersise there free speech rights (Campagin advertising) Thus the corporations (though public) here are recognized as having the same individual rights . SCOTUS must come up with a ruling that's consistent. What's the definition of individual rights, how it applys to public vs. personal patent rights.

Analysis: The personhood of corporations
By Lyle Dennis ton
General Motors might already be halfway to winning its lawsuit.  It has been understood, for decades, that corporations are “persons” under the Constitution.  And nothing the Supreme Court said Thursday undermined that notion.  If anything, the decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission conferred new dignity on corporate “persons,” treating them — under the First Amendment free-speech clause — as the equal of human beings.
