Tabloid science is seldom the best. I believe yet your "Stanford vaccine" is the Aduro Lm vaccine which is non-existent.

Lab mice are bred to develop cancers readily from known stimuli. Such induced cancers are far eassier to cure than volunteer or, worse, inherited cancers.

A vaccine may eventually be developed from the research but it is not likely to exist now.
