There are many necessary evils in business. In these small startups unless you are willing to put your personal assets up and they are substantial, financing has limited options. So dilution, which is merely a financial vehicle, will be the only option available in the beginning of even the best idea.
It is like someone who has bad credit, they are seen as a poor risk regardless of why. So expensive financing avenues are the only option. But navigate those and you will have better options next time. This will continue if your successful until a major bank will see you as an acceptable risk.
Realistically if you are looking for low risk there is nothing for you in the OTC, nothing.
As for charts, not saying they have no place here but are largely wasted on a startup with minimal time in existence. Especially the timeframe you posted.
Good information to keep handy over the next several years though.
