Mary - In the Industry I am familiar with (Hi-Tec Distribution) A manufacturer (in this case ONCI) will sell to a Distributor(here the various dealerships) and Sales revenues for the Manufacturer are recorded at that point regardless of whether the distributor sells it to end customers or not.
Will ONCI get money once they sell the number of units monthly(pre decided numbers per contract) to the dealership even if the dealership installs zero units on cars they sell to their customers? Not sure how it works here..will ONCI invoice (and hence record A/R) dealers per the shipped units or has to wait till they are sold to eventual end customers?
