Many possible reasons why the imaginary manipulators have the stock pegged at 3:

1. Keep the chart broken to keep the swing traders on board;
2. Hope that the company is forced to offer shares at a suppressed price;
3. Decrease the company’s leverage in negotiations for licensing, asset sale and/or buyout;
4. Prevent certain tutes from being able to buy below 5; and
5. Try to wear down investors so that they might give up their shares.
