Scion posted this interesting university study of "stock players" that shows exactly what I believe... that many players aren't truly victims. They know what's happening. They know it's all fake, and they try to ride along with the P&D for profit or fun. And they keep doing it often after many failures.

Scam bashers and government regulators need to take that into account.
