I pumped it, and defended this company fiercely, and promoted it, because I believed they were real, and I actually believed their chocolate bars (he sent me a copy of an invoice from a Chicago chocolate company that was supposed to produce their hemp chocolate bars), and energy drinks. Joey paid me about $500 over a 6 month span, because I needed the money then, and also sent me 3 packs of rolling thunder rolling papers, to promote this company in the early going. I learned about this company before they went public from an article in the Tulsa newspaper, about research related to an Israeli University, and contacted them. I wanted to get in on the ground floor with them. They had a small float then, but most of the volume was sells, and Joey would hit the ask at the end of the day to bring the price back up. Sometimes he'd ask me to hit the ask at the end of the day. After he and Sal had a falling out over the legitimacy, and direction of the company (he said), he admitted to me that he dumped all his shares to get out, because he controlled most of the float. He told me that Sal was an evil man. I believe him. In fact I created the board here, and was the first moderator.
