even the biggest and best companies dont always meet all of their deadlines. whats important is that they move forward and not lose sight of their goals and visions. with sil we have achieved that in spite of some severe obstacles not the least of which is a very bleak business landscape over the last few years. the telco industry needs this product more now than ever. my concern is whether we are able to exploit this opportunity quickly enough. in my mind the sil project has been a success in spite of bad market climates. my concern is that embarq can do the same. this is a much bigger fish to fry.
