We installed around 1,000 systems in the first ten years of our existence as a company, this number has increased significantly, particularly during the last two years. We now have an installed base of around 3,000 systems worldwide

With the new facility measuring 9,000 square meters, EOS is boosting its production capacity in 2018 and is now capable of manufacturing up to approximately 1,000 systems per year

1,000 a year. That's one OEM amongst a growing number of OEM's ramping up worldwide (I assure you Asia will have many you have never heard of coming on line). Oh to have a machine agnostic in-process software to create consistency in the supply chain... oh wait... Sigma Inside!
