I don't have any insider knowledge, but there doesn't appear to be a delay. Pond was going to be ready last week for recovery. If there was a delay, I think they would have hinted at it in this PR being that they had so much good info.

Nobody around here is forgetting about Elena - they're not stupid - they know that. Likely the pond is ready for recovery and they are using the 100gpm MC to recover this week. The coming update from Elena will either be they are recovering with MC or have poured gold (or the 3rd option is a delay of some type)... but as of right now there is no delay being communicated either in the PR or by IR. I take that to mean they are on track with a good update from Elena the 1st week of Feb.
