I really think Gtn was onto something about GeoBroadcast Solutions:
1. currently pending an FCC approval
2. Has mulitple patents
3. GeoBroadcast Solutions, LLC ("GBS"), formed in 2009
4. No news on their website since June of 2017.....1 month before our last update.
5. successful company with history of sales

FCC Approval
Applications were filed with the FCC to request Experimental Authority to test the GBS ZoneCasting system to prove to the FCC that the separate zones will not cause excessive interference. We have successfully met the FCC criteria for our first test (Salt Lake City, Utah) and our second test (Sebring, Florida) and have filed reports with the FCC describing the results. A third test is in process and should be completed by mid 2016.

The results of both tests were successful. The application is being prepared for the rulemaking to allow stations to divide their signals into zones within their FCC mandated coverage areas and permit the station to broadcast separate programming in each zone. In its letter approving our Request for Experimental Authority for our first test, the FCC stated that “We find that the Public Interest would be served through the collection of data on the feasibility of transmitting independent targeted announcements on FM Boosters, which could be used in support of a Petition for a Rulemaking to modify the Commission’s Rules to permit the use of such transmissions”.

To protect the proprietary nature of the concept, GBS filed for a provisional patent on September 11, 2009.

The U.S. Patent Office approved and issued patent No. US8862048 B2 to 6BS on October 14, 2014.
