BnB, there is this guy in PA that does the same thing. Throws food out all over the place for the wild turkeys. Of course, he covers lots of ground for this, because he doesn't want to be accused of having a "feeding station". Then come the Fall, the dogs have a great time, he gets to go out every morning and shoot for "sport", and he's a hero because he gets to bring dinner home and give it to the poor.
