GLD Worst Than FXY for the Year.

FXY loves deflation GLD inflation.

This of course is confined by the 'no show' SLV:GLD price movement.

Yesterday's key bond movement was in LQD which is a deflationary loving bond.

GLD has been moving like a currency, lost step with the Yen as the dollar has tumbled.

There is nothing special (higher inflation) that gives it a premium to other currencies.

Gold is totally at the mercy of the currency markets.
