Im on the phone with them again. they have their heads up their rear ends. it executed at 10:47 am eastern (not 7:47 as I was told).

and yes, premarket trades are active and open ALL DAY (premarket, regular hours, after hours).

two separate customer service people at Etrade told me the exact opposite.
