Two Gold Worries...SLV and UUP
Silver still fails to confirm an inflationary breakout, and the USD has been so oversold its not even funny.
Under normal situations, with gold as the QB, 50% of the portfolio is allocated to GLD.
Given both potential negatives, I've practiced the axioms: 'you never go broke taking a profit, and better safe than sorry' reducing the percentage down to a measly 12%.
Now if silver moves ahead of gold, and gold rises against a strengthening USD, I'll move all in.
