Buyout Talk

I see a lot of people talking buyout with PMCB selling out completely and closing shop. Why would PMCB find a buyout based on their LAPC work to be more advantageous to the shareholders than some other arrangement (like selling/licensing only the specific CIAB rights for LAPC). There is still so much potential in their other areas of work like diabetes, cannabis therapies, Dr. Tong & China, etc to sell completely based on success in one area, isn't there? Seems as though PMCB could use the money from LAPC to invest heavily in R&D in these other areas and create even more benefit to shareholders. What do you all think?

BTW- I follow this board regularly and appreciate all of your posts and insight.
