Novavax is enjoying a stock surge that raised its share price 11 percent so far this week.

Gaithersburg vaccine maker Novavax Inc. (NASDAQ: NVAX) saw its share price spike for the second time this month, increasing 11 percent from $2.01 at Monday's opening bell to $2.23 at the close of Tuesday trading.
The price jump came just a few weeks after the company experienced a 50 percent jump that followed a company report about its clinical trials. That prompted an "uber-bullish" rating from an B. Riley FBR Inc. analyst, raising Novavax's 12-month price target from $2.25 to $10.
