I agree that a disconnect is absolutely necessary. I think that the disconnect is happening. Compare side by side the ups and downs from both companies in December (which are very close)and the ups and downs from January (which are considerably farther apart, especially the last 2 weeks) show that Emerald is making its own name.
What does Canopy have coming up that will position themselves better than Emerald over the next 12-18 months? I am sure they have things in the works but nothing like Emerald has for revenue streams and JV. Not to mention strategic planning that we know nothing about.
Totally agree with you JohnCm and the fact it is happening is crazy exciting because if you aren't setting the standard (like Emerald is) you are are trying to meet the standard like Canopy will be when they realize they rode the MJ excitement instead of positioning themselves for long term dominance like Emerald has.
I may not be a brainiac when it comes to reading charts and all that (thats why I have you guys! :)) but I am great at business operations and these guys have the business operations down!
