How do you think the tax cuts could cause a recession as soon as next year? More money in people's pockets and better corporate earnings. If anything, I think this puts off a recession. In my opinion, it would either be caused by some external/global event or just an overheated market like 2000 and 2007 which could certainly be as early as next year.

I was looking at some interesting data yesterday. The length of economic expansions has increased dramatically in the last few decades with fairly short recessions. Maybe that is a sign of a mature, service based economy. However, some of those recessions have been brutal!
