Ansys, with the acquisition of 3D Sim, now has a complete suite from design to post processing for AM.

The webinar was addressing all the capabilities of this complete suite, which 3dsim tech is now a part of.

They mentioned during the Q&A they were partners with Sigma labs, where the simulation data directly correlates with in process quality assurance data, which allows them to predict the correct signals from each sensor, and make their simulations more accurate and predictable.

Without the collection of the signal data that ensures process parameters are followed (that PR3D provides), their simulations would be less accurate and take longer to create a perfect CAD.

PR3D collects very vital data for many applications.

They also mentioned how crucial it can be to send verified print data to exactly replicate a good build, and the transfer of said data.
