It is an endoscope with instrument capabilities. Because of the inherent length of the scope (3–4 feet), the mechanism and durability of the end effectors is limited. They must be flexible to allow for the bending of the scope. They will not be able to do what Sport can. I also question the feasibility of taking an endoscope through an abdominal incision and performing anything of significance other than the simplest of procedures, such as an appendectomy or ovarian cystectomy.
