Jan. 22--The day began with an overcast sky and that's how it ended this afternoon when I woke up and decided to take the bus rather than walk. In between I tilled the bed again, leveled it, and placed stakes to give me an idea where to plant melon seeds in late April and transplant cabbages hopefully in late February or early March.
Snapper sawed four 20 inch 2 x 4s. I think the coping saw will go to the trash bin tomorrow morning.
I also seed more lettuce and cabbage in the starting cells. I have onions in the room in containers. It's time for them to go the greenhouse to make way for more containers.
I picked probably two dozen carrots. Still a lot more in the ground.
CC the Calico Cat has managed to figure how to play with Rico the black kitten. She will sit on the swing chair and he will sit underneath. She pokes her paws through the openings.

The Nasdaq's third tier, the AMEX can be just as bad, and last but not least, the OTC, it seems, are financial venues that reward failure.
