Among other things they are still trying to cover up for the stock market melt-downs over here from 2000-2003. Naked short selling is running rampant/an everyday occurrence...just like the fractional reserve system used by our banks. The Fed Bank owns the DTCC and us too...by their laws and their schemes...and their debt-note "money". The SEC was created to restore investor confidence after all the shorting corruption and "money pools" (like hedge funds/or shorting pools now) of the 1920's leading up to the US stock market crashes of 1929 & 1932...they don't give a darn about protecting the public/retail investor's wealth/"money"/assets. We're the marks and bag-holders to these very very corrupt people.
