As a consultant. I recommend using gmail for any emails that show up on the web in press releases. Bots can crawl the internet scanning web pages for email addresses. They pick up text@name.xxx formats and add the email address to spam lists. Spammers use these lists to send junk, viruses, reverse spam attacks.. I also recommend using contact- us forms on websites rather than putting your daily business email out for the world to see.

Much safer to put gmail on press release and he can pass the access to that email mailbox to his investor relations and/or pr firms to manage.

Not a huge red flag seeing ONCI use gmail. Also with many companies using office 365 @ $20 per month per use, why add additional mailboxes that will mostly accumulate spam.
