Perhaps you relate to that program on HGTV. I do. I think the owner of that box truck ought to enclose the top with a pitched roof, and put in a window facing the back and pitch the roof over that to cover the deck that's going to be there, and add a skylight or two over the interior of the box. Then he could add a few windows to the box and put in a normal man door and screen door and fold-down deck at the rear. Oh, and a satellite dish so he can get TV and internet -- gotta stay informed, ya know. And he should create a weather tight opening between the box and the cab. But I'm not sure he will have time for all of that because Google might expect him to be married to his job.

I'll guess that the new Google recruit is a hardware or software engineer. Engineers tend to be frugal, and do-it-yourselfers. I read that in an EE Design magazine. I know I am. So I also have a very small house, under 1,000 sq ft, originally constructed in the late 1800s, but I have an extremely large yard where I spend a lot of time. I'm fond of saying that the out of doors is the largest room in my house. I really like the way that room was decorated.
