Subject: Friend's comment on CA homeless
Horrifying, pathetic, disgusting. To see those tent cities and on the other side of the makeshift fence are lovely apartments, it is enough to make you wonder what is wrong with America however it's not quite so black and white. When we were on vacation visiting Vancouver, Canada blocks and blocks of tent cities in downtown Vancouver. they were dangerous, they were frightening and they were taking over blocks of sidewalks on both sides of the street. Businesses that were thriving had to move out because people couldn't either get into their establishment, or their customers were being harassed, attacked, robbed! Look at Detroit so many liberal cities have serious issue with the homeless, who are homeless for a variety of reasons, mental disorder, alcohol & drug abuse, lack of employment, and for some people living in warmer Climate it's just a way of life.
