Another awesome and God given day here in east tennessee and my hope is that all of you...my friends...have awaken to the joy of having your eyes focused on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! i say that because for any of you that have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus. There is absolutely...positively...without a doubt...a big difference in thinking we are happy when we are doing it our way. And in the "joy", peace and contentment that we can find only in a personal relationship with Jesus. Yes...We might think we are happy...we might think we have joy...we might think we are content and at peace...but...outside a relationship with Jesus...we are depending and relying on the things of the world to satisfy us and whether you believe it or not....those things of the world will never satisfy you in good times or not so good times the way that our loving God can and will do! This world is temporary but God is forever! i know this for a fact because ive lived both sides of the fence from one extreme to the other. A sinner ruled by satan for 40 years in total rebellion against God and now a born-again believe for the past 21 years and let me be the first to tell you if you havent heard the good news. There is no comparison. My worst of days ...so to speak...with Jesus..is so much better than my best of days living for satan, the world and myself! Many and most people can find some kind of happiness throughout their life time...but...you will never have peace..joy and contentment outside a relationship with Jesus and there is no comparison in the two! Im not saying the christian life is a easy road without sickness..trials and problems. Im saying that having the Holy Spirit of God living in us makes all the difference no matter what tragic event comes our way!
