I agree. And to add, Kim and Jon said they are "working with material strength objectives". Which, to me, means they already know the acceptable levels of tensile strength and elasticity that the army requires. I doubt they would send them something different. This could very well be the issue with the delivery of shootpacks (which you've already hinted at). DragonSilk could be great and everything, but the Army already wants a custom fiber for ballistics applications, so why waste time with DragonSilk?

What I'm waiting for is the next contract with the military. If Kraig Labs was able to meet the Army's performance parameters with this strain, the next contract could be many times larger.

One more thing. People forget that Kraig Labs has already sent the Army shootpacks. Albeit, they are knitted and not woven. The Army has likely seen what DragonSilk can do, to an extent.
