FYI. There are a chain of resevoirs connected by a small river south of Casper to Rawlins WY. I slept under the stars next to that river and the large trout jumping for bugs kept me awake.

Also you have the Flaming Gorge resevoir and the stream below the dam is world class trout fishing. Good choice.

Actually I got forced into retirement at the beginning of the year. Got 6 months severance pay and I turn 62 in June. I got in the car a week ago and ended up near South Padre island Tx. Got a decent motel suite for a month, $850. Food is so cheap. But I'm finding out the fishing here is supposed to be awesome. If we hit a penny I'm buying a fishing shack.
