Polymet still does not have clear title to the USFS land that is needed for the mining operation. The USFS okayed the land exchange, but the so called title transfer from the Department interior was met with several lawsuits by the environmentalists blocking the land exchange. It is up to Judicial decision by a federal judge or an act of congress to block the lawsuits and compleat the land exchange.
