Hard to tell what is going on behind the scenes. On one hand, Lombardo comes across an honest, straight shooter appearing aligned with investor interests and changing the strategic direction of the company to curb the reckless unfocused spending of past days. This compares to O'Connor who often showed he was greedy and unethical and would not think twice to put his own financial interests above his investors' interests. On the other hand, it is somewhat concerning that Lombardo has been at the helm almost seven months and has done nothing to restore market confidence in the direction of the company and get the stock price back up. Hopefully, a deal is brewing and soon to be announced. If not, well then, the bears will be right that the stock is currently priced where it is for a reason...
