Security Systems Specialist

Patriot One Technologies Inc. aims to directly address the very real and growing active threat phenomena, which has become a significant force for shaping research in weapons detection through the development of portable devices and software solutions to assist military and civilian security personnel in the detection of concealed weapons.
Patriot One Technologies is seeking a Security Systems Specialist to join the Implementations team. The Security Systems Installer will be responsible for the installations, configurations, testing and initial support of client-site PATSCAN® Systems installations.
Responsibilities:
Installation and configuration of Access Control Systems
Installation and configuration of CCTV / Video Monitoring Systems
Installation of configuration of Intrusion Alarm Systems, ID Badge Systems, Automatic Door Operators, and Parking Control/Turnstiles
Termination, and calibration of field devices, sensors and RADAR systems, includes
All installation of communication infrastructure including conduit, enclosures and cables
Testing equipment, connections, and signals; identify and correct problems.
Log user issues and communicate issues with Development team
Maintain and record inventory as required.
Participate in the service on-call (after hours standby and response) rotation responsibilities
Completes job status reports, travel expense reports, safety logs, markups for as-built drawings, test reports and other documentation as required.
Requirements:
Diploma/Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute or equivalent work experience as a security system, control system or similar, installer
Background knowledge of RF
Linux with command line experience
IT security systems configuration and management experience
Experience with VMWare/Virtual box
Experience with Python and or scripting is an asset
25% - 50% travel is required
