I saw my Dr. who heads hematology at City of Hope and is a leader in stem cells there today. I asked if he'd looked at the link I sent him on a company I was interested in, at first he wasn't impressed until I mentioned they were working with placental stem cells. Then he remember I and one other led him to look at the company, and yes, they were impressed and in fact plan to have a meeting with the company in the not to distant future.

I don't know how much he'll tell me about the meeting when it occurs, but he was clearly enthusiastic about what he saw.

For those who don't know, City of Hope does many drug trials and actively develops drugs themselves. Multi-billion dollar drugs like Hercepin were initially developed at COH and licensed to others to further develop, they receive a small royalty income from such drugs.
