Vol is More Bad News for GLD.

By one of my two measures neg. vol 'should have' reached an all time low today, but if you look at XIV

It's slightly down for the year as stocks have soared.

So why is my measure bad news for gold?

Simply because XIV has another leg up. This will hit interest rates hard and gold along with it.

Gold would love to see the general market sell off...interest rates to come down...and gold to go up. As I said my vol numbers are not suggesting this will happen at all with the reverse being more likely.
