I feel that after working with fingerprint bios that can give false readings due to dirt and oils or that one cuts their finger and the print changes, or that maybe someone can mold or duplicate a fingerprint, that vein bio is the best way to go.
And retna bio, well who wants to put their eye up to something?
Face bios is improving but still angels of light and where camera is placed have an effect on that.
Vein bio is a secure and non invasive way to do it.
The data is keep safe as that is a major concern of everyone and including ourselves.
Yes the system requires internet and but a different model act in a stand alone fashion but that would be a different system then the vein verified.
The major advantages over zazzz are we have lowered parts cost such as touch screens and use of off the shelf components over VE boards that were pripriotary to their system.
Also the VE system was not as good of a bio-metrics interface as was desired.
The VE system interfaced with just one manufacture and we wanted to interface with more to add features and benefits to our lineup

The webcam will be used for different applications that may use video and a way to communicate with customers at the machine, it is currently being used to depict what age you are and gender to make suggestions of products.
