ha! most companies wanting to buyback shares just incinerate them later - sometimes it drives up the pps. long holders usually make out ignoring buybacks. but only if the company has awesome fundamentals worth holding out for. ive noticed... even if fake letters by PR marketers looking to grab attention to a stock, planting seeds for a run.
