It’s obvious that ETBI is getting a large infusion of cash for their diabetes pill.

By using nanotechnology, they’ve produced an oral insulin pill to control blood sugar levels. This is a monumental discovery that’s eluded Big Pharma for years. The finding means improved control of blood sugar, decreased risk of diabetes complications and no injections.

Eastgate already has the product: The company recently expanded its new pharmaceutical product development to include large molecules as active compounds that will address indications in diabetes, obesity and the overall metabolic syndrome. In order to protect our innovation and know-how the company had filed these initial provisional patents:

These two provisional patents relate specifically to the company's intraoral insulin formulation. The company has outlined its sub-micron self-nanoemulsifying platform technology to develop alternative dosage forms for delivery of known biologically active molecules. These technological approaches have demonstrated robustness and resulted in diversification of drug delivery products. As a result, the company was able to develop an intraoral insulin tablet that is delivered to the mouth for intraoral insulin absorption (not GI-tract delivery).
