Pot business booming

Published on Dec 15, 2017 - CBC News

The pot business was booming in 2017 and, as legalization in Canada gets closer, more companies will be looking to cash in on this crop.

- I find this insightful YT clip on the Canadian cannabis industry to be relevant as BLDV focuses on Canada. Notice the comments that Chuck Rifici, former CEO of Tweed, makes on the following topics that I think will provide opportunities to BLDV and its strategic partners AMS and QG. Please listen to Chuck's comments carefully:

1. $1 billion raised in the last quarter of 2017 by the Canadian cannabis industry which was the same amount raised for the entire year of 2016 (this demonstrates the growth of the Canadian cannabis industry that BLDV is positing itself in)

2. Opportunities that the U.S. prohibition is providing to the Canadian market (I think BLDV's decision to focus on the Canadian market is a smart move)

3. Solidification of Canada global leadership in the industry and exportation of product and IP (note what BLDV mentioned in the 4/20/17 PR about exportation of technologies in relation to AMD and Israel)

4. Acquisitions of LPs and distribution companies being completed to build capacity (I think BLDV's strategic partners in Canada provide it with good positioning)

5. Expectations for the industry's performance 2018's performance to exceed 2017 and the time it takes to build capacity (note how BLDV's has been explicit in its PRs about the size of AMS's and QG's facilities)

6. Distribution agreement lock-ins facilitated through M&A deals, potential buyouts by tobacco companies at a later date and the expected scaling of operations into 2020-2025 to have the capacity (note how the fair size of AMS and QG's facilities will help them attain the required growth and increasing capacity requirements)

Go BLDV!

Buy cautiously and sell reluctantly. All of my posts are In My Opinion only based on the DD I have completed. Please do your own DD and make your own decisions.
