I’ve given this fertilizer marking a lot of thought before commenting.
Turkey stopped nitrate or phosphate fertilizer production for two years because of terrorism. I posted a news article about this.
I can understand the quasi effectiveness of marking barcodes in a track and trace system. Especially in counterfeiting problems(fake fertilizer).
But that system would not abate terrorist use.
The only way to trace bomb use fertilizer back to its producer and batch is to embed the marking in the fertilizer with something that would survive the heat from a blast.
To my knowledge, only APDN can do this.
