scstocks: There is some conflicting info as to whether Trump used the actual term "shithole". But even if he did it does not bother me one bit. It is the absolute truth. I have been all over the world. Hence my posting name "Bigworld". And there is one universal truth, which can be interpreted as racist. I am not. Just an observer who doesn't harbor white guilt or isn't obliged to follow our PC culture. The universal truth is this. The darker the skin of the majority of a nation's inhabitants the worse that country is in terms of being a shithole. There are no exceptions that I have seen. White and asian countries are cleaner, more advanced, safer, and superior in almost every way. Better infrastructure. Less corruption. Better living conditions. Less poverty. I have been to Africa. Lots of natural beauty. But you would never want to live there. Trust me. I've been to South and Central America. Chile is safe, and an uo and coming country. Brazil is descending into a crime ridden shithole. IN Central America most parts of Costa Rica are nice, beautiful and safe. Avoid the capital. Belize is OK. The rest of it is crime ridden, and corruption is rampant. The murder rate in El Salvador and Honduras rivals Baltimore, which is ground zero for American shitholes. In this country we have lots of urban shitholes. Baltimore, Detroit, Newark, Memphis, St Louis, lots of New York, large swaths of Los Angeles, over half of Chicago (my original home town). I'll leave you to surmise what they all have in common. Trump is 100% right. To get into New Zealand they use a point system. You get points for various factors like capital, speaking English, educational attainment, having young children, etc. Essentially New Zealand wants people who can be self supporting, employable, and who can assimilate into their culture and become Kiwis. What do we do? We allow in the uneducated, non English speaking, welfare dependent, social service needing, or criminally inclined. We let them in, legally and illegally, in numbers that cannot be assimilated and a huge net cost to the taxpayers. Think of the Trillions of Dollars we have spent allowing such vast immigration. Why? So we can have an adequate number of low skilled low paying workers to do our gardening? Man our chicken processing plants? We need a total overhaul of the immigration system. Illegals that are social service dependent need to be sent back to their country of origin. I'd vet the so-called Dreamers. Those that learned English, that got educations, that are gainfully employed and self sufficient without criminal records can stay. The rest...back to their countries of origin. I'd build the wall. High and deep. And I'd man it with the military like the Korean DMZ. Tunnels would be found and destroyed. I'd put a 10 year minimal moratorium of all immigration. Criminal immigrants, legal and illegal would be sent back to their countries of origin. I'd do away with the anchor baby loophole. No birthright citizenship unless at least one of the parents is a US Citizen. Period. Chain migration would end. Period. Immigrants that missed their families back home would be encouraged to visit or move back. Grandparents and parents would not be allowed in to populate our hospitals and nursing homes at great cost to the taxpayers. We no longer have the money to provide wide open borders coupled with social services that start on Day # 1. And I don't listen anymore to the cliches that we are a nation of immigrants, blah, blah, blah. We were. Then we slapped a 40 year moratorium on all immigration to allow for assimilation. Which didn't rally occur until the shared sacrifices of WW II. We now let in so many immigrants we no longer get assimilation. We get recreations of the the places they come from, in isolated enclaves. We no longer require sponsors to be responsible for the immigrants financial needs. Now we just open Uncle Sam's overdrawn checkbook. California once had the best schools and colleges in the nation. No longer. When you have to expend Billions of Dollars teaching to 106 foreign languages there isn't much left over for reading, writing and arithmetic. I can only end that we are on our way to becoming a shithole. Trump is the last barrier to that happening. The mega wealthy globalists in their walled compound with their private (armed) security details don't give a shit about what the rest of us have to endure, They couldn't care less about the Kate Steinlee's of the world.
